How to type your answers
- Negative numbers: use a minus sign, like
-3. - Numbers can be whole numbers, decimals (
0.75), fractions (3/4), or mixed numbers (1 1/2). A$is fine for money. - Points are ordered pairs, like
(4, 0). Intercepts need both coordinates. - Equations: type
y =and your expression. Use/for fractions and parentheses to group, likey = -1/2x + 3. Slope-intercept form (d) has no parentheses around x; factored form (e) looks likey = 2(x - 5). - A yellow format note does not use up an attempt. A wrong answer does. You get hints after your first and second misses.
